The EDRM mid-year working meeting (aka The October Meeting) is scheduled for October 20 and 21, 2010. The objective of this meeting is to bring together the EDRM working groups for face-to-face meetings to work through the issues and advance the efforts of each working group toward completion of working group objectives and deliverables.

The proposed agenda for the meeting is noted below. Leading up to the meeting we will work with the project and working group leads to refine the details of the schedule. We need to hear from everyone whether you will be able to attend these meetings as well as suggestions. Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated.

Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota (The Saint Paul Hotel).

We would also like to take this opportunity to recognize the significant level of progress already made by several project teams. Great strides have been taken over the past two years to flesh out and further define the EDRM model. Over the next few months, you will be seeing two years worth of active collaboration, refinement and modeling being added to the EDRM website. As part of that process, we are re-building the site to provide users an updated interface with easier access to the valuable research and content. The kickoff meeting for the EDRM V (2009-2010) project is just two days away – Wednesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 14.  Here are some last minute reminders:

Schedule:  Please arrive promptly so we can start on time.  We have a lot to cover in a day and a half.  We will post a detailed schedule separately.

Attire:  Casual.  This means leave your business attire at home.

Two new projects for Jobs and Information Management to be launched at the annual meeting by the leading e-discovery industry group

ST. PAUL, Minn. – April 23, 2009 – The Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), an industry group created to develop and establish practical guidelines and standards for electronic discovery, is holding its 5th EDRM Kick-Off Meeting in St. Paul, Minn., on May 13 and 14, 2009.
