Brainstorming Session Number One + Where Do We Go With EDRM?
Structured discussion led by George Socha and Tom Gelbmann on the question “Where do we go with EDRM?” Key considerations from this discussion included the following “needs”:
Need for further development of the Evergreen Project model.
- Highlighting of trigger points between components of model.
- Developing concise content descriptions of components of model.
- Defining in additional detail each of the components of the model.
Need for targeting Evergreen Project information for specific audiences.
- Need for targeting private practice legal professionals.
- Need for targeting corporate legal professionals.
- Need for targeting IT leaders.
Need for communicating Evergreen Project information.
- Need for development of common knowledge base.
- Need for attribution requirement for content.

Additionally, key questions arising from the “Where do we go with EDRM?” discussion included:
1) How many corporations are willing to spend money on a problem they do not have today in order to prevent a problem they may have in the future?
2) Is there a need to stratify EDRM requirements by type and size of business?
3) How can EDRM develop scalable processes to allow for handling of both large and small projects?
4) How can we help corporations understand whether their processes/procedures are normal?
