The mission of the EDRM Model Code of Conduct Project is to evaluate and define acceptable boundaries of ethical business practices within the electronic discovery service industry, and to issue aspirational guidelines intended to serve as a basis for ethical decision-making by all participants in the electronic discovery process.
The EDRM Model Code of Conduct consists of seven sets of principles and corollaries. They are:
