BCC's and Exchange Journaling

--J9 14:49, 24 April 2006 (PDT): Recommend you are specific that only "Envelope" journaling (not standard or even BCC journaling) will capture the BCC's and that Envelope journaling is a working feature currently on MS Exchange 2003 Enterprise edition only. It has been the experience with several of my clients that "Envelope Journaling" does not in fact work properly in Exchange 2003 Small Business Server - only within the Enterprise version of Exchange. Enabling Envelope journaling on Exchange 2003 SBS causes looping errors and/or does not include the envelope journal at all. In 2003 Enterprise, these errors are overcome by placing the journal recipient mailbox on a separate mail store than the mailboxes to be journaled. Exchange 2003 SBS limits the system to a single mail store, so this work around is not available. I have been encouraging my client's IT staff to consult with Microsft and log this as a serious bug in hopes of resolution.
