St. Paul, Minnesota – March 8, 2016 – EDRM, the leading standards organization for the e-discovery market, announced today that George Socha, co-founder of EDRM and president and founder of Socha Consulting LLC, will co-chair the 2016 University of Florida EDRM E-Discovery Conference with William Hamilton, executive director of the UF Law E-Discovery Project.
The conference will take place on March 30, 2016, at the University of Florida Levin College of Law campus. Remote attendees will be able to participate via livestream on a UF Law site. Online live chat capabilities will allow virtual attendees to connect and network around the world and engage with presenters during the conference.
The conference agenda focuses on “Curing Your Data Demons,” featuring a keynote address by Craig Ball titled “Professional Responsibility: Nine Basic E-Discovery Skills,” followed in the afternoon by a luncheon address on emerging e-discovery ethics by the Hon. Ralph Artigliere (ret.).
A panel of judges, including Gill Freeman of the Miami-Dade Circuit Court and U.S. magistrate judges Gary Jones for the Northern District of Florida, William Matthewman for the Southern District of Florida and Anthony Porcelli for the Middle District of Florida, will hold a discussion on the e-discovery competency courts expect from attorneys.
