EDRM Releases Budget Calculators

Saint Paul, Minnesota—November 21, 2013—EDRM, the leading standards organization for the e-discovery market, announced today the release of a set of budget calculators available on the EDRM website. Budget calculators were provided by EDRM members to be used as resources for others developing their own budget calculators or as templates for those wanting to get cost estimates for e-discovery projects. The site contains descriptions of the calculators, suggestions for use and instructions for the calculators. They are available on the resources page of the EDRM website.\r\n\r\nThe compilation was performed by the EDRM Metrics team, led by Dera Nevin and Kevin Clark, with special assistance from team members Erin Corken, Sonia Waiters, Sheri Towne and Bob Rohlf. A complete list of EDRM Metrics team members can be found on the EDRM website. The team welcomes the submission of other calculators that will benefit other practitioners in the e-discovery industry.\r\n\r\nThis compilation of tools is the third release of valuable resources this year by the EDRM Metrics team. In June, the new Metrics Model was released, and in early November a supporting glossary of terms for the Metrics Model was published. The Metrics team, as well as the entire EDRM body, continues to develop, compile and publish frameworks, standards and resources – all focused on addressing practical issues related to e-discovery and information governance.\r\n\r\nInformation about EDRM memberships is available at www.EDRM.net.\r\n\r\nAbout EDRM\r\nEDRM creates practical resources to improve e-discovery and information governance.
