A Message from the HaystackID CEO: Concern, Commitment, Continuity

At HaystackID, we are concerned about the developing issues related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and its impact on individuals, families, and businesses around the globe. With this concern in mind, I wanted to personally share an update about what our company is doing to ensure continuity of services for those who are supported by HaystackID or may need assistance during this challenging time.
Coronavirus PictureAs you may know, HaystackID is a specialized eDiscovery services firm that serves an international customer base. We have built our reputation and success on a combination of eDiscovery expertise and technical excellence, coupled with strong customer relationships. As a relationship-based company, face-to-face meetings, industry events, and frequent travel are an essential part of our business. But, during this challenging time, we are prioritizing the safety, security, and health of our team members, partners, and customers by limiting our participation in non-essential meetings, events, and related travel until later in the year. However, given our substantial past investments in the ability to securely communicate and support remote eDiscovery, our company is positioned today to continue the full support of our clients regardless of location or level of support required.

As a leader in the delivery of document review services and the originator of secure remote document review, HaystackID has six years of proven experience in supporting virtual review teams operating remotely. This capability has been doubled in recent weeks to support the increasing demand for remote reviews, and we stand at the ready to help customers and partners with our ReviewRight services. Currently, our dedicated review centers remain open. Still, we have implemented our pandemic response plan at each of these centers. Our pandemic response plan ensures we employ practices recommended or mandated by public health officials. Within our pandemic response plan, we also offer reviewers the opportunity to work from home, providing a secure review environment for them to work either as an employee or contractor based on their current established engagement relationship with HaystackID. This approach allows us to best support our clients while also supporting those who are dependant on their review work to support their families.

From an industry perspective, the need for eDiscovery services remains solid. However, we expect to see changes in the coming months on how those services will be delivered, especially as law firms and corporations consider remote-centric models based on coronavirus challenges. We expect demand for our computer forensics, eDiscovery, and attorney document review services, especially our secure remote review services, to continue to be strong. I also want you to know that our first and foremost business consideration at this time, as always, is preserving the safety, security, and health of our employees, clients, and partners.

We will continue to monitor the directives, recommendations, and updates outlined by public health organizations to include the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and will share updates as appropriate.

Thank you for your consideration of HaystackID. We are grateful for your trust.

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.

Sincerely,

Hal Brooks
