Shifting Gears: eDiscovery Business Confidence during COVID-19

While the respondents to this quarter’s eDiscovery Business Confidence Survey increased their optimism for the upcoming six months, they also recognized that budget constraints will have an outsized impact on activity.  According to the editor of Complex Discovery, Rob Robinson, originator of the survey in 2016:

The results of this summer eDiscovery Business Confidence Survey present the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on the business of eDiscovery. The results also portray the concern and considerations of the people and providers of the eDiscovery ecosystem as shared by 100 legal, business, and technology professionals.

Only 4% of respondents believe that business will be worse over the next six months, a remarkable calming of collective nerves.

EDRM is grateful that Rob hosts this survey, and to our EDRM community who responded to the survey questions.
