EDRM Opens Island for Community Education and Networking
Dave Cohen, Reed Smith Partner and Chair of their Records and E-discovery Group and Mary Mack, CEO and Chief Legal Technologist of EDRM will lead a lively, interactive discussion on avoiding sanctions. The event will feature Ethics CLE in participating states.
The Ethics CLE will be sandwiched between virtual networking events, starting with the EDRM Support call over Zoom on Tuesday and Clubhouse networking on Wednesday followed directly by avatar networking.
The formal description of the CLE is:
Top Tips for Avoiding E-Discovery Sanctions- Interactive Discussion – Wednesday April 7 at 4 ET, 3 CT, 2 MT, 1 PT
E-Discovery sanctions motions and orders are increasing. In fact, last year there were more than 850 federal and state rulings involving e-discovery sanctions, up from fewer than 500 in 2019. How can you safely steer clear of e-discovery sanctions? Don your avatar, come to the campus of the E-Discovery Expo and join us for this lively discussion, hosted by Mary Mack and also featuring EDRM Chair of Project Trustees, Dave Cohen. Mary and Dave will lead an interactive discussion of the most common issues surrounding e-discovery sanctions, and practical advice you can implement along the entire continuum of EDRM E-Discovery Reference Model. Come ready to share YOUR top tips, or just listen to the tips provided by other experienced e-discovery practitioners! 1.0 CLE ethics credit available in states where approved.
