OpenText + EDRM Influence Channels Survey Launches

EDRM + opentext eDiscovery Influence Channels Survey

For Immediate Release

MINNEAPOLIS, December 14, 2021 – Setting the global standards for e-discovery, the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) is pleased to announce the launch of the OpenText + EDRM Influence Channels survey.

This inaugural influence channels survey consists of fifteen questions, plus an optional opt-in email for the results and should take 3-4 minutes to complete. The survey will be conducted for several weeks and will be concluded when there is a statistically significant number of responses.  EDRM’s trusted partner, OpenText is collaborating on the survey with EDRM.

The results will be sent sometime in January for those taking the survey and subscribers to EDRM’s Above the Fold newsletter.  No email addresses or individual responses will be shared with or distributed to third parties.

Topics included are questions to measure the impact on sales with:

  • Platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Gartner, G2 and more
  • The influence of vendor thought leaders on purchasing decisions
  • The relative attractiveness of sites for marketing consumption
  • Specific online and virtual conferences and events
  • Specific marketing deliverables like POC’s, case studies, webinars and the like
  • Reasons for shortlisting vendors for past purchases
  • Specific eDiscovery and legal technology focused media properties

“We are often asked about which venues are most valued by our eDiscovery and legal tech community,” said Mary Mack, CEO and chief legal technologist at EDRM. “EDRM is grateful to our trusted partner, OpenText, for the opportunity to quantitatively measure impact across channels—and to benchmark our own efforts.”
