Wishing You A Shiny New 2022

2022 Warmest wishes for a memorable holiday season and all the best for a shiny new 2022. EDRM will be cloaed 12.21 through 1.5.22
Dear EDRM community,

The word for the week is feast.  The candidate’s market is still boiling.  All sectors, from eDiscovery to Information Governance to privacy to security, have a wealth of opportunities for leaders through the new entrants.  We are hearing of banner years for many organizations, with the challenge of sustainability and retention replacing last New Year’s worry about layoffs.

As we gather through the holidays, breaking bread and hoisting beverages, we rejoice in the presence of our families and friends.  From texts to handwritten cards to monumental gifts, we are grateful for each of you, and the contribution you have made to us personally and to our global EDRM community.  We recognize the love of your family and friends supporting you and allowing you to contribute at such a high level.

EDRM will be refreshing, restoring and attending to our own beloved families and friends from Dec 21-January 5 to restore and replenish, as close as we can and as safely as we can.  This will be the last newsletter until our return in shiny new 2022!

As we move toward the end of 2021, and the fresh canvas of 2022, EDRM has been gifted with a sack full of eDiscovery case law sessions from January through December.  EDRM offers our all of our top webinars for replay, no paywall as always, over the holidays. The schedule is here for those who find some moments to catch up after a decidedly busy legal technology year with topics including proportionality, privilege, IGRM, criminal, special masters, preservation, resilience and changing jobs.

We’ve launched our EDRM + OpenText eDiscovery Influence Channels survey and would be very grateful for your opinion about your favorite content providers, platforms and opportunities.

EDRM projects are finishing up their work product for 2021.  Please reach out to info@edrm.net to learn more and join the community after the first of the year.

EDRM’s Illumination Zone Clubhouse is also on hiatus through the new year.  We are very grateful to our discussion leaders and participants and in particular, Professor Mark Michaels for co-hosting, and ComplexDiscovery for helping us launch.

Our Syndicated EDRM Global Podcast Network is available via iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and your favorite podcast app, so you can listen at your leisure.  Kaylee and Mary have our own podcast, the Illumination Zone, joining TAR Talk podcast.  Reach out to info@edrm.net to suggest guests, including your own fabulous self.

We continue to Zoom gather for an hour to give and get general support in our ninety-third week each Tuesday.  These sessions are point in time for us as humans and are not recorded. The Zoom support calls will continue during EDRM’s End of Year Hiatus, from December 21-January 5.
Expect our EDRM Legalweek activities to be virtual and highly creative, and we’ll bring you many EDRM leaders on the ground and on the screen.

Email us at info@edrm.net to be included on the group invitation for our interactive general support. Remember, you are not alone, and you are welcome at our events, or to reach out for help.  If you are having a mental health emergency, please consider these resources for professional help.

We welcome your participation in our projects, webinars, support gatherings, and our EDRM Hub, our job board/event/directory website.  There is no charge for these EDRM offerings, thanks to our very generous partners.

Health, wealth and happiness,
Mary & Kaylee
