Weekly Letter to our Global Community: 11 Jan 22

EDRM Letter to our global community 11 Jan 22, a hand holding a map of the world with electronic connections

Dear EDRM community,

The word for the week is nonfungible.  NFT’s are all the rage. Entire corporate structures being created, contractual workflows including the tokens are being created.  NFT’s are now funding businesses and political campaigns. NFT’s, like blockchain and Bitcoin, are an emerging challenge those of us dealing with electronically stored information (ESI).

The opposite of fungible, our global EDRM community is a wealth of multidisciplinary practice and advanced collaborative communication in this candidates’ market.

As we emerge into a shiny new 2022, we recognize how unique our family and friends are with the holidays, breaking bread and hoisting beverages, now in our rearview mirror.  In our eDiscovery community, our colleagues and co-workers are also exquisitely unique.  Our Illumination Zone podcast interviews give color to the different journeys we’ve all taken to legal tech and eDiscovery.  The opposite of fungible, our global EDRM community is a wealth of multidisciplinary practice and advanced collaborative communication in this candidates’ market.

The window to respond to our EDRM + OpenText eDiscovery Influence Channels survey is closing soon and we would be very grateful for your opinion about your favorite content providers, platforms and opportunities.

EDRM projects are open to new contributors again, please reach out to info@edrm.net to let us know your interest, and we will introduce you to the appropriate Project Trustee.

Our Syndicated EDRM Global Podcast Network is available via iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and your favorite podcast app, so you can listen at your leisure.  Kaylee and Mary have our own podcast, the Illumination Zone, joining TAR Talk podcast.  Reach out to info@edrm.net to suggest guests, including your own fabulous self.

We continue to Zoom gather for an hour to give and get general support in our ninety-sixth week each Tuesday.  These sessions are point in time for us as humans and are not recorded.

Expect our EDRM Legalweek activities to be virtual and highly creative, and we’ll bring you many EDRM leaders on the ground and on the screen.

Email us at info@edrm.net to be included on the group invitation for our interactive general support. Remember, you are not alone, and you are welcome at our events, or to reach out for help.  If you are having a mental health emergency, please consider these resources for professional help.

We welcome your participation in our projects, webinars, support gatherings, and our EDRM Hub, our job board/event/directory website.  There is no charge for these EDRM offerings, thanks to our very generous partners.

You make the difference,
