Weekly Letter to our Global Community: 18 Jan 22

EDRM Letter to our Global Community 18 Jan 22, the world with notes illuminated and connected with a hand underneath supporting

Dear EDRM community,

The word for the week is unrelenting.  Storms, with snow, wind, tornadoes and rain, pummel areas of the earth unaccustomed to such vehemence.  We are hoping for survivors in an underground earthquake and volcanic eruption in the beautiful island nation of Tonga.  Even with less virulence, the infectiousness of Omicron has hospitals at their breaking point, with signs that early vectors are peaking.

We are hearing a massively increased emphasis on retention and new ways to make rain and fill pipelines for engagements and job candidates.

In the midst of uncertainty for parents of the youngest children and families with immunocompromised loved ones, business in the basement goes on, and mandatory back to the office has largely been postponed.  The Great Resignation may be ceding to the new job moniker, the Great Quit, where a notice period does not occur.  We are hearing a massively increased emphasis on retention and new ways to make rain and fill pipelines for engagements and job candidates.

EDRM projects are open to new contributors again, please reach out to info@edrm.net to let us know your interest, and we will introduce you to the appropriate Project Trustee.

Our Syndicated EDRM Global Podcast Network is available via iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and your favorite podcast app, so you can listen at your leisure.  Kaylee and Mary have our own podcast, the Illumination Zone, joining TAR Talk podcast.  Reach out to info@edrm.net to suggest guests, including your own fabulous self.

We continue to Zoom gather for an hour to give and get general support in our ninety-seventh week each Tuesday.  These sessions are point in time for us as humans and are not recorded.

Expect our EDRM Legalweek activities to be virtual and highly creative, and we’ll bring you many EDRM leaders on the ground and on the screen.

Email us at info@edrm.net to be included on the group invitation for our interactive general support. Remember, you are not alone, and you are welcome at our events, or to reach out for help.  If you are having a mental health emergency, please consider these resources for professional help.

We welcome your participation in our projects, webinars, support gatherings, and our EDRM Hub, our job board/event/directory website.  There is no charge for these EDRM offerings, thanks to our very generous partners.

May the wind always be at your back,
Mary & Kaylee
