Weekly Letter to our Global Community: 25 Jan 22

EDRM Letter to our global community, 25 Jan 2022

Dear EDRM community,

The word for the week is structural.  In a pre-COVID world, this week, we would be preparing product launches, press releases and for the official beginning of our legal tech year.  unpredictability in weather has replaced traditional seasonal expectations. Fundamental rules changes for competition, voting and vaccine mandates are heatedly debated.  Boundaries and leaders are being challenged on a global scale.

EDRM’s Information Governance Diagram and Processing Guidelines have completed their review after the public comment period.

Utah, Arizona, Oregon, UK and other jurisdictions are introducing new capital schemes for legal services and new methods of qualifying for the bar addressing concerns from corporate legal departments and those stewarding access to justice initiatives.

EDRM’s Information Governance Diagram and Processing Guidelines have completed their review after the public comment period and are published here.  APAC eDiscovery and eDisclosure Version 1.0, a project initiated at Sedona, will be published for public comment. Several stages of the EDRM model are in the flow for EDRM Global Advisory Council input prior to public comment.

EDRM projects are open to new contributors again, please reach out to info@edrm.net to let us know your interest, and we will introduce you to the appropriate Project Trustee.  You can check out EDRM’s project listings here.
