The word for today is break. The stories and photos emerging from previously occupied cities and towns in Ukraine are harrowing and a breach of international rules of war regarding civilian populations. War crime evidence is being collected as battles and bombings rage. Negotiations for a cease fire simmer even as families in other parts of the world celebrate holidays, holy days and Spring Break.

One of Victoria’s last articles covered mental health specifically in our community, with our interrupt-driven, judge-mandated deadlines. Our need for confidentiality limits who can be talked with to solve emotional problems. To avoid more of the Great Resignation, forward thinking firms are building in sustainable teams via sustainable contracting and staffing.
