Dear EDRM Community,

The word of the week is unfiltered.

The death toll for the Türkiye and Syria is above 30,000. Here is one place to help. After China’s balloon was shot down, NORAD opened the filters of radar data, resulting in three more takedowns.  An environmental catastrophe is expanding in the trainwreck in Ohio.  Microsoft’s Bing smoked Google’s Bard in the competition for AI enabled search.

In legal tech this week, EDRM welcomes veteran Nextpoint and the great Brett Burney to the EDRM Trusted Partner program.  Legaltech News Editor-in-Chief Stephanie Wilkins looks at DoNotPay’s fall in their attempt to create AI chatbots for legal consumers. Trusted Partners Merlin Search Technologies and HaystackID’s nSight Search earned 2023 Trailblazer awards presented by the National Law Journal.  Susan Bennett of our Trusted Partner, InfoGov ANZ, invites EDRM to take part in the 4th #InfoGov Industry Survey tracking developments over the past 7 years – have your say and provide your valuable insights. Ralph Losey puts another AI tool to the test, this one D-iD.com. Our Trusted Partner, Exterro, shares the results of their collaborative survey with ACC.
