Weekly Letter to Our Global Community – 21 Mar 2023

EDRM Weekly Letter to our Global Community

Dear EDRM Community,

The word of the week is whoosh.

All banks are on edge as Signature Bank, Credit Suisse and others face challenges after the shock of Silicon Valley Bank’s depositor run.  The Judicial Conference asked Congress for 75 new judges.  India has liberalized its legal market and foreign firms are lining up to move in.

In legal tech this week, we’re at the epicenter, Legalweek23.  Using Artificial Intelligence, HaystackID® Expands Legal Document Review Services and Staffing Marketplace Capabilities. Relativity Celebrates AI Innovation and Advancement at Legalweek 2023.    ComplexDiscovery’s Rob Robinson ties the Silicon Valley Bank fiasco with Enron and Wirecard.   iCONECT solidifies its relationship with strategic funding partner NewField Capital to broaden its product matrix to other industries. Trusted Partner, Sidley’s Tom Paskowitz gifted our community March’s Notable Cases and Events in E-Discovery.  Ralph Losey is putting ChatGPT to the test to evangelize wisdom and knowledge.  Ralph, and his ChatGPT companion’s Part 2 of 2 is here.
