Merlin Search Technologies is pleased to announce the appointment of Kendra Smith as our new Chief Operating Officer.
Kendra brings over 15 years of experience in the legal industry, with expertise in Document Review, Litigation Support, Technology, and Operations. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. Following law school, Kendra focused on eDiscovery and Document Review, working for leading law firms in Denver and Washington, D.C.
Subsequently, Kendra transitioned to the service provider side, advancing her career from Director of eDiscovery to Chief Operating Officer at Cobra Legal Solutions (now Purpose Legal).
As Merlin’s Chief Operating Officer, Kendra will contribute to the development of the company’s strategic plan and vision, oversee daily operations, and manage all aspects of Merlin’s business and financial operations while ensuring the company’s commitment to outstanding Support and Client Service.
Kendra’s deep understanding of client needs across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), combined with her experience in team building and efficient, cost-effective business and legal operations, makes her an invaluable asset to Merlin. Having held roles in corporate, law firm, and service provider settings, Kendra has been responsible for legal and business operations, people management, and service excellence. This unique perspective enables her to seamlessly support Merlin’s needs of Merlin along with our clients and partners.
