Ron Rambo, Content Manager of Exterro, provided an overview of the activities organized for E-Discovery Day 2020 and set the context with the holiday’s history. According to Rambo:
E-Discovery Day has come a long way over the past five years. What started in 2015 as an opportunity for legal professionals from around the world to come together and celebrate the vital and growing role that they play in e-discovery process has grown larger and more active each year. Now in its sixth year, E-Discovery Day is ready for attendees with 27 sponsors, 16 free resources, 11 great educational webcasts, and seven other virtual events all rolled into one day: Thursday, December 3, 2020.
With eleven educational webinars, some with CLE, E-Discovery Day gatherings on the EDRM Campus will begin the night before on December 2, when the late Gayle O’Connor will be honored and continue the next day with avatar based Q&A, a full Expo environment, and two cocktail mixing Happy Hours scheduled for multiple time zones.
According to Bill Piwonka, Exterro Chief Marketing Officer:
“We’re excited to bring together supporting organizations within the legal community for the sixth year to celebrate and bring more awareness to the e-discovery industry. EDRM’s Expo is a fun, innovative new addition to E-Discovery Day, and we encourage more organizations and attendees to join in support of this industry-wide day of celebration.”
