EDRM has teamed with ComplexDiscovery to host a drop in conversation called eDiscovery Lagniappe every Thursday at 4PM Eastern on the Clubhouse App, now in beta.
The forum will highlight “dialogue, discussions, and debates on legal discovery research, reports, and recent developments,” according to Rob Robinson of ComplexDiscovery.
Kaylee and I were practicing for our first event, and unexpectedly, several of our friends popped in to say hello and to suggest topics. Camera-free, the opportunity for serendipitous conversations is high.
Mary Mack, EDRM
Co-hosted by ComplexDiscovery’s Rob Robinson, EDRM’s Mary Mack and Kaylee Walstad with Doug Austin of eDiscovery Today, the event should engage, educate, and entertain those who are interested in being part of informal yet highly informative live discussion.
The first guest was Mike Bryant of Knox Capital on Legal Tech Investments and the next guest will be Ryan O’Leary of IDC anchoring on the eDiscovery Marketplace. Upcoming guests include Robert Keeling of Sidley Austin on Antitrust and Debbie Reynolds of Debbie Reynolds Consulting on Privacy and Biometrics. Guests will be added regularly.
If you have eDiscovery-related topics that you would like to bring to the Clubhouse and share as part of the eDiscovery Lagniappe discussions, please click here to send a short note to our co-host and programming expert, Kaylee Walstad of the EDRM.
While Clubhouse is available only on iOS (yes, Rob has tested the iPAD), and it is invitation only, it is suggested if you need to join, that you use the link for the weekly event on the Clubhouse to notify the hosts of your interest, and hopefully free up an invitation for yourself. There is a separate waitlist for Clubhouse in general, and many have found greater success in registering for an event.
