ALM’s Ready on New Entrants to eDiscovery

With a candidate’s market, eDiscovery teams are challenged to find experienced personnel. Frank Ready, reporter at Legaltech News, provides on the ground intelligence for what hiring managers are experiencing.

While most have not seen experienced attorneys in other practice areas migrate to eDiscovery, others are seeing newer graduates and contract reviewers looking for additional training to bolster their ability to climb the eDiscovery stack into more client facing, or complex positions.

With ramp up time in the multiple months for new entrants, most are looking for some eDiscovery seasoning.

We definitely want five-plus years of experience, preferably from the service provider standpoint.
