As communities from Puerto Rico to Newfoundland activate to restore living places and power, the entire state of Florida is preparing for landfall of Hurricane Ian. The Russian mobilization of men to fight against Ukraine is causing traffic jams at the border as Ukraine continues its successful push east. Women in Iran are leading demonstrations, burning hijabs as their sisters organize for the right to wear hijabs in other countries.
