Dearest EDRM Community,
Word of the week: Interruption
In legal tech last week, Ralph Losey reprised last year’s top article on quantum computing to recognize the impact of the quantum discoveries of the recent Nobel Peace Prize winners. Travel was tough for those in US airspace, and food aid organizations geared up for the impact of the government shutdown on employees missing their first paycheck. We’ve heard of withdrawn positions and stealth layoffs “for cause” to reduce headcount. Dust off your resume, engage your network, check your pantry for possible food bank donations, and let us know your sense on business conditions as we move to year-end in the 2H 2025 eDiscovery Business Confidence Survey.
We have a packed calendar for the EDRM Global Webinar Channel as we move into November, as Nuix reintroduces themselves to our community with a demo of their end-to-end AI-enabled on-Premises offering, and Trusted Partner HaystackID will explore the challenges and opportunities for AI-powered document review in Construction Litigation in the fourth quarter workshop.
