The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will retire Windows 95 and floppy disks. Outdated tech stacks are a major reason for developer attrition. Advances in quantum computing challenge the security of encryption, blockchain, and Bitcoin.
- World Events Impacting Legal Tech: Minnesota legislators were targeted, killing the Senate leader. A peacekeeper shot a demonstrator as the US celebrated the Army’s 250th anniversary and President Trump’s birthday. Fighting between Russia and Ukraine continues across borders. Israel attacked Iran’s military leadership and nuclear facilities, and Iran has retaliated. More than 200 souls perished on an Air India flight.
