Word of the week: Boldness

In our legal tech world this week, Autonomy and Luminance founder and investor Mike Lynch’s body was found after his sudden death in Sicily. Rest in Peace. A manslaughter investigation has been opened into his ship sinking.

A federal court struck down the ban on noncompetes; here is a US national tracker. Telegram’s CEO was arrested in France, and Rob Robinson wrote on the implications. In a cautionary tale for legal professionals, an LLM confidently hallucinated that a court reporter had been convicted of the crimes he covered.
