Dearest EDRM Community,
Word of the week: Convergence
In legal tech last week, Legalweek made a successful shift to the Javits Center, where we loved exploring the advances and challenges our community shared with each other. We particularly enjoyed being gathered in close conversation with the smartest people with the largest hearts. Our EDRM 2.0 draft candidate was considered and approved by an overwhelming majority.
The Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Lifetime Achievement Award went to Shannon Bales, David Greetham, Florinda Baldridge, Colleen Kenney, Heena Bhambhlani and Mary Mack. Laura Danielson earned a Monica Bay Women of Legal Tech Award, and Alex Ponce de Leon was named Innovator of the Year – Legal Department (Individual).
Congratulations to the Legalweek team for a great conference, and thank you for the recognition. Thank you to those who gave their considered opinion on the EDRM 2.0 draft candidate (and the project team that produced it), and those who shared ideas and introductions with us. Thank you for the warm reception from our LegalTech leaders, and for those of you who shared your pricing insights with us. A special thank you to those bringing the spirit of Kaylee Walstad into every room. Until next time!
Mary Mack, EDRM.
